Kids With BB Guns and Mystery Critter in Trashcan

The following are excepts from the log.

Saturday, Sept. 10

At 1:26 a.m., a caller on Buckingham Road reported that she thought someone had tried to break into her house through a window and that it may have been her ex-boyfriend who had threatened to come over. Police found nothing.

At 11 a.m., a caller on Bruin Hill Road reported that she heard gunshots nearby. It turned out to be some kids shooting BB guns. Police told them to stay away from houses.

At 2:45 p.m., a caller reported that she came back from walking in Harold Parker State Forest and her car had been broken into.

Sunday, Sept. 11

At 8:30 a.m., a caller on Marblehead Street reported that there was an unknown animal in her trashcan. Police went there and released the animal.

At 3:07 p.m., a caller reported youths throwing things off the overpass at Chickering and Walker roads. No damage had been done to the caller's car. Police filed a report.

At 8:45 p.m., a caller on Edgelawn Avenue reported upstairs neighbors being loud. The noise was from college kids playing video games, and they agreed to quiet down.

11:26 p.m. A caller on Chickering Road reported a group of people hanging out in a parking lot. The people were gone when police arrived.
