Identity Theft and Parking Lot Larceny

The following are excepts from the log.

Friday, May 4

At 1:08 p.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle accident on Andover Street. Andover police were notified, but there were no serious injuries reported.

At 7:28 p.m., a caller on Winter Street reported that her identity had been stolen. Police are investigating.

Saturday, May 5

At 8:50 a.m., there was a domestic dispute on Farnum Street involving a husband and wife. It was a verbal dispute, and the wife left for the weekend.

At 9:16 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Massachusetts Avenue and made an arrest. Juan Luis Moreno, 41, of 404B Andover St., North Andover, was charged with operating after suspension.

At 1:02 p.m., an employee at reported that a customer said an older woman with gray hair wearing a leather coat had stolen something from her motorcycle in the parking lot. Police did not find the woman.

Sunday, May 6

At 5:05 p.m., there was a motor vehicle accident at Massachusetts Avenue and Waverly Road. There were no injuries reported.

At 8:58 p.m., a caller on Sugarcane Lane reported that someone had stolen his identity and wrote bad checks in his name. Police are investigating.
