The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Tuesday, Aug. 20
At 6:19 a.m. a caller reported a car break-in at 54 Milk St.
At 6:37 a.m. a caller reported someone had broken into her Harvest Drive home overnight.
At 6:57 a.m. a caller reported a bat in her 60 Hemlock St. residence. An officer responded and reports the bat was removed.
At 7:06 a.m. a caller reported a vehicle had slammed into a stone wall at 1607 Salem St. and left the scene. Police found a motor vehicle with heavy front-end damage at Salem and Granville. The owner will be summonsed for leaving the scene of an accident.
At 8:10 a.m. a Park Street man reported a neighbor had threatened him.
At 11:06 a.m. police assisted with removal of a bat from the Stevens Estate at Osgood Hill.
At 11:34 a.m. an officer helped a Mass. Ave. resident with a bat in the house.
At 3:38 p.m. police arrested Angel Serrano, 129 Beninto, Apt. First floor, Lawrence and charged her with shoplifting in connection with an incident at Kohl's.
At 4:13 p.m. a resident of Autran Avenue reported her car was broken into overnight.
At 5:21 p.m. a resident of Moody Street walked into the police headquarters to report a previous vehicle break-in.
At 5:29 p.m. a Cricket Lane resident reported a snake in her basement. An officer removed the reptile.
At 5:44 p.m. a woman reported that her motor vehicle was struck in the parking lot at Panera Bread. She got the license plate number.
At 7:54 p.m. a caller reported an ongoing problem with a 14-year-old girl striking other kids at a Gibson Court complex. The girl will be summonsed for assault and battery.
Monday, Aug. 19
At 1:43 a.m. an Edgelawn Avenue resident reported she needed help getting a bat of our her residence. As police responded, she called back and said the bat had left the building.
At 10:50 a.m. a caller reported a small dog loose in Heritage Green. The dog, who had no collar or tags, was taken to Andover Animal Hospital.
At 3:13 a small school bus was involved in a minor accident at 115 Mass. Ave. There were no injuries.
At 3:39 p.m. a caller reported damage to her car in the Market Basket parking lot. A carriage had been pushed into the car.
In connection with an incident at 3:58 p.m. at 23 Royal Crest Drive, a 14-year-old boy will be summonsed for receiving a stolen motor vehicle, subsequent offense.
In connection with an incident at 4:47 p.m. at 2 Cypress Terrace, a 15-year-old boy will be summonsed for receiving a stolen motor vehicle.
At 6:01 p.m. police received calls from both parties in a dog/cat dispute. At issue is a dog getting loose from Oxbow Circle and grabbing a cat on Colonial Avenue. The dog owner will make sure the dog stays on their own property.
At 6:46 p.m. a man reported a gun was missing from his Dale Street home.
