Household Assault, Mischeivous Skateboarders and Shoplifters

Items from the North Andover Police logs of May 1 and 2.

The following are excerpts from the North Andover Police log. The information is open to the public.

Sunday, May 1

2:21 a.m. An officer noticed a car parked on Autran Avenue had been struck. The officer tried to call the resident at the address to inform them their car had been hit, but there was no answer. Police filed a report.

1:16 p.m. A caller on Main Street reported three kids skateboarding on that street. Police went here but found nothing.

2:55 p.m. Police went to Mount Vernon Street and arrested Andrew Addivinola, 25, of 46 Mount Vernon St., for assault and battery on a household member as well as intimidating a witness.

Monday, May 2

9:26 a.m. An employee from New England Tractor Trailer School reported that someone had broken into their office overnight. Police are investigating.

10:31 a.m. An employee from reported shoplifting. Andrew Villamizar, 17, of 3112 Harvest Drive, was charged with shoplifting by concealment.

1:22 p.m. A customer at reported that her wallet had been stolen there. But it turned out she had just left it on the checkout counter.

2:52 p.m. A Kohl's employee reported a shoplifting. Lourdes Meran, 55, of 266 S. Broadway, Lawrence, was charged with shoplifting.
