North Andover Police are looking for suspects in a home invasion that occurred on May Street Wednesday.
At just after 3 p.m. Wednesday, a May Street resident called 911 reporting that a male had fled their home with a gun.
"Responding units and detectives went to the home and, after investigating, determined that 3-4 masked individuals entered the residence and committed a home invasion," North Andover Police Chief Paul Gallagher wrote in a statement Friday.
Money, along with possibly other items, was stolen from the home.
A man in the home was reportedly hit with a blunt instrument and hospitalized, and he has since been released.
The residents may have been a target.
"The ongoing investigation has determined that this crime was specific to the residence and was not a random act," Gallagher wrote.
