Fatal Motorcycle Crash on 495

The man was reportedly thrown 1,000 feet.

It took police a whole day to find the body of a man killed in a Sunday motorcycle accident on I-495, Massachusetts State Police said.

Methuen Police were pursuing the man down I495 southbound, but they did not see the motorcycle crash. Methuen Police contacted State Police for help with the search for the victim after the crash. State Police utilized an airwing and K-9 search but nothing was found.

On Monday, the State Police returned and assisted with a second search, and the body of the victim was located about 1,000 feet from the motorcycle crash site.

The crash is under investigation.
