Elderly Hitchiker and Bag of Meat

Tuesday, Nov. 15
At 9:14 a.m., Police received several calls reporting that an elderly man was hitchiking on Route 114 near Starbucks. Police drove the man to the Lawrence line.
At 1:39 p.m., a caller reported finiding a bag of rotten meat on the side of the road near Harold Parker State Forest.

At 3:33 p.m., Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Police arrested Michelle Brown, 42, of 180 Newbury St., Danvers, for shoplifting.
At 5:40 p.m., a caller on Second Street reported that neighbors were possibly smoking pot. But it turned out the neighbors were just burning wet logs outside.
