Domestic Assaults and Stolen Car

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.
Tuesday, July 30
At 1:24 a.m., a caller reported that her husband hit her. James Frank, 48, of 111 Woodcrest Drive, North Andover, was charged with assault and battery of a household member. The caller will also be summonsed for assault and battery of a household member.
At 7:56 p.m., a caller on Millpond reported a domestic dispute between his sister and her significant other. Leo Fraser, 52, of 60 Millpond, North Andover, was charged with assault and battery of a household member.
Thursday, Aug. 1
At 3:44 a.m., a caller on Silsbee Road reported that someone was breaking into vehicles and took off in what looked like his neighbor's red sedan. Police confirmed that the neighbor's car was stolen and put out an alert for the vehicle.
At 8 a.m., a caller on Main Street reported that four vehicles had been broken into in that area.
At 4:37 p.m., a caller on Francis Street reported that her son was assaulted by another kid earlier. An ambulance was called for the alleged victim, but it was later determined that no assault happened. The juvenile who reported the alleged assault will be summonsed for filing a false police report.
