Police Make Four Arrests

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excepts from the North Andover Police log.

Monday, Feb. 20

At 9:38 a.m., a caller on Sugarcane Lane reported that his neighbor's dog had escaped from an electric fence and chased his son. Police advised the dog's owner to keep the dog inside or on a leash.

At 2:08 p.m., Kohl's reported a shoplifter. Leslie Campion, 37, of 3 Maple Ave., Haverhill, was arrested for shoplifting.

At 6:16 p.m., Market Basket reported a shoplifter. Christopher Nunez, 23, of 152 Waverly Road, North Andover, was arrested for shoplifting and possession of a class A substance. He also had a trial warrant for possession of class B substance.

Tuesday, Feb. 21

At 12:13 a.m., at the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and I-495, police arrested Marcos Garcia, 33, of 26 Washington St., Lawrence, for several trial warrants for charges including assault and battery, assault with a deadly weapon, breaking and entering, destruction of property, home invasion and drug violations.

At 8:33 p.m., at the intersection of Boston and Turnpike streets, Ashmaly Pena, 25, 93 Berkeley St., Lawrence, was arrested and charged with operating a vehicle after suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle. She also had trial warrants for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and more.
