Bank Robbery and Veteran Assault

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following are excepts from the log.

Friday, July 13

At 10:35 a.m., a caller on Chadwick Street reported a loose pit bull at McEvoy Playground. The dog was reportedly a brown female and friendly. The dog was taken to Andover Animal Hospital.

At 2:57 p.m., a caller reported seeing a dog in a gray jeep in the parking lot of the North Andover Mall. The dog's owner came out and left.

At 6:58 p.m., reported a shoplifter. Jessica DeJesus, 20, of 6 Inman St. Apt. 25, Lawrence, was arrested for shoplifting.

Saturday, July 14

At 3:29 a.m., a caller on Gibson Court reported someone ringing their doorbell and throwing rocks at the window. Police found nothing.

At 4:16 p.m., a caller on Lacy street reported that her neighbor was knocking down trees near a power line. Police went there and reported that the man was cutting a tree down to keep it from falling on the powerline and everything was fine.

Sunday, July 15

At 5:57 p.m., reported two shoplifters. Alexander Pagan-Montes, 24, of 106 Bernard Ave., Lawrence, and Juan Galarza, 35, of 189 Middlesex St., Lowell, were arrested for shoplifting. Both of them also had court warrants for previous charges.
