Another Rash of Car Breaks

The following information was supplied by the North Andover Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Summer may be almost over, but the vehicle break-in season is still in full-swing.

Police received several reports of vehicle break-ins overnight Monday into Tuesday.

There were two car break-ins on Cotuit Street and one on Brewster Street. There was also one on Longwood Avenue, in which a woman's iPod was stolen, and another on Martin Avenue, in which a boy's gaming system was stolen.

Then on Tuesday night, a woman on Colgate Drive reported that her motion lights went on and she believed someone may have tried to break into her car.
