Alleged Credit Card Thief Arrested

The following information was provided by the North Andover Police Department. Where charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The responded to the following calls and made the following arrests on Wednesday and Thursday.

Wednesday, Feb. 22

At 9:11 a.m., a Hillside Road resident called police after seeing three men wearing greenish/blue work jackets in a backyard. Police found the men were with a contractor working on a house.

At 2:31 p.m., someone at North Andover Country Club called to report vandalism. Youths reportedly took flags and threw them on the ground.

At 5:51 p.m., a Windsor Lane resident called police after her daughter and her friend reported hearing gunshots and someone saying “We got you now.” Police found no sounds of gunshots nearby, but could hear skeet shooting from the rod and gun club in the distance.

Thursday, Feb. 23

At 1:02 a.m., police arrested Jonathan Casale, 17, 100 Sutton Hill Road, North Andover, and charged him with malicious destruction of property more than $250. Police made the arrest after receiving a call from Rosemont Drive about people in a vehicle damaging mailboxes.

At 1:14 a.m., police responded to Osgood Street after a reported robbery. A man told police that two men in a dark-colored minivan robbed him outside his business. Police are investigating.

At 3:36 a.m., police received a call from Sutton Street after a car was stolen.

At 7:49 a.m., police arrested Jean Louis Boutot, 59, 186 Hampstead St., Methuen, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended or revoked license and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Police made the arrest at Osgood Street and Holt Road.

At 8:56 a.m., a Hillside Road resident reported a brush fire. Police spoke to a homeowner who was burning brush and advised him on the burning rules.

At 3:59 p.m., police received a call on Chickering Road after a truck lost a load of bank checks, which were all over the road. Police notified the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to remove the debris from the road.

At 5:06 p.m., police arrested Neil R. Sulis, 26, 129 Bay State Road, North Andover, and charged him with operating an uninsured and unregistered motor vehicle. Police made the arrest at Commonwealth and Massachusetts avenues.

At 5:25 p.m., police received a call from Dale Street about an injured turkey in the roadway. An officer had to put down the injured animal.

At 7:13 p.m., police arrested Eric K. Sullivan, 32, 18 Belmont St., North Andover, and charged him with larceny from a person, larceny under $250, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Police made the arrest after receiving a call from Rolf’s Restaurant after a patron reportedly stole another customer’s credit card.
