Absent Son and Christmas Turkeys

Friday, Dec. 23

At 7:27 a.m., a caller on Harold Street reported that she wanted her husband removed from their house. The wife left instead and planned to spend the day at a friend's house.

At 8:23 a.m., a caller on Summer Street reported that a package was stolen from their property.

At 10:57 a.m., an employee at Stop & Shop reported a shoplifter. Kyle Carroll, 25, of 10A Bedford Village, Bedford, was charged with shoplifting.

Saturday, Dec. 24

At 12:23 a.m., a caller on Saunders Street reported that neighbors were playing drums loudly. Police spoke with the neighbors, who said they were done playing for the night.

At 12:33 p.m., a caller on Saunders Street requested a well-being check on her adult son, whom she hadn't heard from in two days. Police located the son, who was fine and said he would call his mother.

Sunday, Dec. 25

At 7:21 a.m., there were turkeys in the road at Massachusetts Avenue and Osgood Street. Police managed to get the turkeys to move off the road.

At 1:31 p.m., a caller on Summit Street reported a suspicious car in her driveway. The man turned out to be a neighbor's kid's father.

Monday, Dec. 26

At 10:35 a.m., a resident walked into the station and reported credit card fraud.

At 12:59 p.m., an employee at Dunkin Donuts reported that a customer had fainted. By the time police got there, the customer had regained consciousness and left with three other people.
