Lillian Levesque, 'Tireless Caregiver,' Remembered

Lillian (Arcand) Levesque 72, of North Andover died March 8 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Lawrence on January 14, 1941 to the late Edmund and Mary (Robichaud) Arcand and was a graduate of St. Patrick High School in Lawrence.

Lillian will be remembered for her dedication, love and support to her family and friends.  She was known for her great sense of humor and loved to laugh, sing, and dance.  She enjoyed traveling, especially to Nova Scotia, Niagara Falls, and Kennebunkport, Maine.  She loved spending time with her family and treasured Sunday afternoons at the pool.  She was a homemaker, office manager, and a tireless caregiver for her mother, who was her best friend.

She is survived by her husband R. John Levesque of North Andover, her two daughters, Catherine Canto and her husband Thomas of Methuen, Suzanne Buchholz and her husband Eric of North Andover and her son John Levesque of North Andover. Also among her survivors are her five grandchildren, Katie Canto and her fiancé Jonathan Morgan, Zachary Canto, Kacey Levesque and James and Jacob Buchholz. Lillian is also survived by her five sisters, Julianna Zalanskas and her husband, Peter of Tuftonboro NH, Nancy Terrio of Lawrence MA, Rosanna Jardin and her husband Gerry of Dracut, Ma, Mae Kalil and her husband William of Murrils Inlet, S.C. and Celia Monty and her husband Leo of Lawrence MA.,and her five brothers Edmond Arcand and his wife, Deborah of Lawrence MA, William Arcand and his wife Suzanne of Barefoot Bay FL, Richard Arcand of Lawrence MA and Peter Arcand and his wife Sharon of Methuen MA. and Thomas Arcand and Rhoda LaTorre of Methuen as well as several nieces and nephews.
