It is time to get your fishing poles, lures, reels, bait, and even your bobbers ready, to test the waters of Lake Cochichewick in North Andover, Mass., at the sixth annual Fishing Derby, Saturday, June 2, from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. The Fishing Derby supports the Timothy P. Roberts “Reeling in a Dream” fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Participants may fish from the shore of Brooks School beginning at 9 a.m. for $10.00 per person, or by boat (electric motor only) at 7 a.m. for $25.00 per person. Trophies will be awarded and all children will receive a participation medal. Pre-registration is encouraged at Treadwell’s Ice Cream at Smolak Farms in North Andover during regular business hours or online at www.reelinginadream.org.
The Timothy P. Roberts “Reeling in a Dream” fund purpose is to fulfill dreams and wishes that cannot be granted within the scope of traditional medical care to young adult patients at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
