Wine and Sign with Howie Carr and Joseph Carr: Boston Radio Legend Howie Carr and Wine Maker Joseph Carr Visit the Wine ConneXtion for a Special Event

On Saturday,
December 14th, 2013, the Wine ConneXtion, located in North Andover, MA is welcoming two
local influential figures to its store, WRKO’s  radio
legend Howie Carr and California wine maker Joseph Carr for a Wine
and Sign event. From 4:00PM
to 6:00PM guests are invited to mingle, get a taste Joseph Carr and
Josh Cellars wines and get their own copy of Howie Carr’s newest book signed by
the author himself.

Radio personality Howie Carr, known for his
groundbreaking political exposés on radio and television, is also recognized for his New York Times bestselling
books on the notorious underground New England mafia. With the purchase of
t-shirt ($20) guests
will receive a copy of Howie Carr’s brand new book Ratman : The Trial and Conviction of Whitey Bulger. They will then get their book personally signed by Howie Carr (and even get a photo if they choose).

That’s not all, attendees will also get to
sample vinos crafted by the critically acclaimed wine maker, and owner of
Joseph Carr Vineyards and Josh Cellars, Joseph Carr. Carr will be there to sample the wines, answer questions and
even sign bottles of wine. New York
Times
writer Eric Asimov proclaimed Joseph Carr to be “a producer to
watch,” and put his wines alongside the likes of Far Niente, Clos du Val,
Heitz, Grgich Hills and Rubicon. Joseph Carr works with small estate growers to
produce handcrafted boutique wines that are sophisticated yet approachable.

This afternoon of rubbing elbows with local
legends is not one to be missed. Tasting is complimentary, and walk-ins are
always welcome.
