Author Stephen Puleo discusses Dark Tide: the Great Boston Molasses Flood of 1919, one of the most unique industrial accidents that occurred 95 years ago this year.  Shortly after noon on January 15, 1919, a 50-foot-tall steel tank
filled with 2.3 million gallons of molasses collapsed on Boston’s waterfront,
sending a 15-foot-high wave of molasses that traveled at 35
miles per hour ..."
