You Tell Us: What Does America Mean to You?

It's the nation's birthday, and what better way to celebrate it by reflecting on what the United States of America means to each of us?

The United States of America turns 236 years old today, and families across America are celebrating with fireworks and cookouts.

The nation has gone through a lot in the 236 years since the founders signed the Declaration of Independence and launched the greatest experiment in democracy the world has ever known -- continental expansion, a civil war and reconciliation, two world wars, economic depression, civil rights movements, decades of struggle against communism and putting people on the moon, to name a few.

So we want to know, what does America mean to you? Leave a comment and discuss.
