The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for much of eastern Massachusetts, including North Andover.
Snow showers are expected to start Thursday night and end before dawn Friday and then start again late Friday night. This batch of snow is expected to bring between one and two inches of accumulation. But NWS warns that, with the cold weather we've been having, roads will become slippery quickly.
On Saturday, North Andover will likely see more snow, with temperatures in the high 20s. But, the NWS reports, the track of that storm is still uncertain so accumulation is unpredictable. If warm air sets into the region, we could see a wintery mix or change to rain.
