VIDEO: One-Man Beer Tour Comes to Town

Helping to fight cancer one beer at a time.

One day, Todd Ruggere of Grafton and his friends were trying to name every city and town in Massachusetts. They fell short, and Ruggere wondered what it would be like to have a beer in every community in the Commonwealth.

So he decided to turn it into a mission and use the opportunity to raise money for Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund to help fight cancer.

"I've always liked Dana Farber, the Jimmy Fund, and fighting children's cancer is always something I've wanted to find a way to donate money to," Ruggere said.

So he set out on his own "Mass Beer Tour," drinking a Sam Adams in every community in Massachusetts (except the dry towns, of course).

On Saturday, he stopped at Rolf's. He had been to 57 towns already, and Rolf's owner Lesley Carlson was delighted and honored that he chose Rolf's to have his beer in North Andover.
