VIDEO: Layla and Tornado-Rescued Dubie
One of the pets of the week came from Springfield following the recent tornado.
When a tornado tore through Springfield and other areas of central Massachusetts, pets were among those affected and many animals were found stray following the disaster.
With overcrowding at the TJI Animal Shelter in Springfield, pups like Dubie were moved up to Nevins Farm in Methuen to provide a more suitable home. Dubie is a 12-year-old rat terrier that loves to play and needs a home. After being close to disaster, this animal is just looking for a loving family.
Layla is a 1-year-old domestic house cat that can be a little fesity but is a loving cat that loves to play. She needs to be with owners that understands cats.
