SNOW, JEEZ!

Another snowstorm heads our way, North Andover expected to see several inches of new snow.

Spring is just a couple weeks away, but winter wants to get more snow in before then.

A snowstorm is headed our way and is expected to dump up to eight inches of new snow on North Andover Wednesday night through Friday morning.

The storm, which is expected to be a major snowstorm for Washington, D.C., and the mid-Atlantic, will reach high enough North to impact New England. Snow here will begin late Wednesday night and continue through Friday morning. The snow will be heavy and wet, and it will be a slow-moving storm which will allow accumulation.

WHDH is calling for 4-8 inches of snow in the Merrimack Valley and about a foot of snow further west near Worcester.

WHDH meteorologist Chris Lambert writes on his blog:

"My current thinking is a northeast wind presents mixing issues at times along and near the coast. 2-4" of heavy, wet snow in Boston. Around 95/128, points west, 4-8" of heavy wet snow."

This is late winter in New England, though, so of course things can change before the storm actually arrives.
