PHOTOS: Local Couple Buzzes With Gronk

The Primmers raised more than $33,000 for pediatric cancer research.

Rosalind and Jim Primmer of North Andover headed to Gillette Stadium in Foxboro for the 2012 Kid's Cancer Buzz-Off. And they joined hundreds of others in shaving their heads to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

The Primmers participated in honor of their granddaughter, Carah, who has lymphoma.

Among the 450 people who attended and had their heads shaved was Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The event raised more than $500,000. The Primmers' team, Carah’s Crew, raised more than $33,000.
