On Monday, North Andover paused to honor soldiers who gave their lives serving their country.
The weather was practically ideal for the service that followed the parade at Ridgewood Cemetery.
This year's North Andover Memorial Day ceremony was dedicated to Cpl. Sean Gallagher, who was killed in a terror attack in Beirut in 1983. His mother, Barbara Gallagher, was the guest of honor at Monday's ceremony.
