NAMA to Provide Coffee to Senior Center

The local business advocacy group will provide for at least a month, and perhaps longer.

Earlier this week, the posted a letter on Patch calling for donations for coffee. The center relies on donations to serve seniors coffee, and according to the letter, they serve 543 cups a week.

Wednesday night, the North Andover Merchants Association voted to fund the coffee at the Senior Center for a month. And according to NAMA President Sylvie Foulds, NAMA is looking into doing even more.

"Need the amount to get the vote in," Foulds said. "But we are planning on providing coffee and tea for the year. They provide our meeting space every month since we were established, so we wanted to thank them."
