MSPCA Extends Cat Adoptathon

Due to Hurricane Irene hampering the effort, the MSPCA in Methuen is waiving cat adoption fees through Aug. 31.

Due to Hurricane Irene forcing the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen to close Sunday, the organization is extending its cat Adoptathon -- waiving adoption fees for adult cats -- until Wednesday, Aug. 31.

The MSPCA has many cats available for adoption. During this promotion, adoption fees will be waived for adult cats in an effort to find homes for them.
