Hazardous Weather Advisory Issued for North Andover

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather advisory for much of the Merrimack Valley including North Andover.

Residents can expect scattered severe thunderstorms throughout this afternoon and evening. These storms will likely be accompanied by strong wind gusts that could do damage.

The advisory also says the storms may produce pockets of large hail and flooding in some areas.

Residents are advised to stay off the roads as much as possibly during the storm and stay indoors.
