Movies and snowshoeing are just a couple of the fun ways to save for the family this week.

We're all watching our family budgets these days. Whether shopping with coupons or looking for two-for-one deals, we're taking advantage of all sorts of offers and savings that help us stretch our dollars.

Deal: Merrimack College is holding computer camps this week for kids ages 7 to 17.

Deal: This popular attraction is offering a combination special for laser tag and the Adrenaline Zone, for $22.

3. ESSEX ART CENTER

Deal: The Essex Art center is offering February Vacation Camps called Art Adventures available for kids ages 3 to 10. Prices start at $25.

4. CHUNKY'S CINEMA

Deal: Chunky's is open for full matinees all week during February vacation.

Deal: Harold Parker State Forest is hosting a free  today from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Hike with a ranger at noon and enjoy hot chocolate and marshmallows. Arrive any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and meet at the pavilion on Middleton Road. Wear hiking footwear and bring water and sunscreen as appropriate and bring snowshoes or skis if you want.
