  • Rainy Day: Temperatures are expected to be in the mid 60s most of the day, with rain throughout the day as well.

  • This Day in History: In 1648, the first volunteer fire department was established in New York. In 1931, the comic strip "Dick Tracy" debuted in the Detroit Daily Mirror. In 1957, "Leave it to Beaver" debuted on CBS. In 1994, President Bill Clinton welcomed South African President Nelson Mandela to the White House.
