Today is Wednesday, March 23. Here are five things you need to know:

  • Still Cold: Winter has decided to stick around past its time. Temperatures are expected to be in the high 30s today.
  • The Good Life: The is having a new set of programs for adults ages 65 and up called Check them out.
  • Speak Out: The election is in less than a week. Submit a Letter to the Editor to Bryan.McGonigle@patch.com and let your voice be heard.
  • Census: The Census results are in. Check back shortly to see the results for North Andover.
  • This Day in History: In 1806, Lewis and Clark reached the Pacific in their famous expedition and started their trip back home eastward. In 1903, the Wright brothers patented the airplane. In 1922, the first airplane landed in Washington, D.C.
