Why Go: Tickled Pink is a fundraiser comedy event to raise money for breast cancer research. The organizers of the event have a friend who, at age 34, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and they are holding the event to raise awareness of the disease as well as money for a cure. All proceeds will be donated to the 21st annual North Shore Cancer Walk. The $25 ticket price includes admission. Doors will open at 7:30 p.m., and show will start between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Go early to grab a great seat. No tickets will be sold at the door. When/Where: Saturday all day in Boston. Check out the

Why Go: Your team won the Stanley Cup! Why not go cheer them on and honor your hockey heroes? Word of caution -- parking and traffic are expected to be utterly ridiculous, so public transportation may be your best bet.

When/Where: Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Smolak Farms.

Why Go: Boston parades not your thing? Well you can stay local and go to the Smolak Celebrate with a day in the country while getting a first-hand look at the natural, hand-made products that come straight from the farm.Farms Family Farm Festival. Experience the wonders of farm living -- freshly grown food, wool at your disposal, etc. -- without the annoying farm chores. Snuggle up to the cuddly farm animals such as goats, Cormo sheep, chickens, bunnies and alpacas. Children will be able to hold and play with the animals while they learn how their new furry friends contribute to farm life. Guests can enjoy fun farm activities such as milking a goat, spinning wool and planting herbs in their very own planter box. Take a part of the farm home and don’t forget to roam the special selections of yarn, goat’s milk soap, sculptures or knits from Smolak’s all natural fiber vendors. Admission is free. Parking is $2.

When/Where: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 21 High St.

Why Go: Explore Davis & Furber mill and explore the village houses built around the factory from 1830 to 1890. Tickets only available Friday at The North Andover Historical Society (153 Academy Road, Old Center) or Saturday at Tour headquarters at 21 High St. beginning at 9 a.m.

When/Where: All day Sunday.

Why Go: It's Father's Day! We're assuming you didn't forget (but if you did, we won't say anything). Why not stay local?
