It's Friday, and you're wondering what to do this weekend. In addition to Mother's Day brunch, which we're sure you have already planned (hint, hint), here are some local ideas for the weekend.

Why Go: This new veterinary hospital will have its grand opening and open house, with raffles/giveaways, tours of the hospital and lectures from both Dr. Murtha and Dr. Maffezzoli. The Salem Animal Rescue League will have adoptable dogs and will be doing dog washes for a donation to the Salem Animal Resuce Leauge. They will also be having a professional pet photographer from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and for a $20 donation to the Salem Animal Rescue League, one can get a photo shoot and a 5x7 picture of their pet mailed to them.
4. Pet Nail Clipping

Why Go: The Sandy & Phyllis team will be there offering nail clipping.
While you're there, the store is having a sale on Lotus canned cat food.

Why Go: The Anderson family is holding this fundraiser to help battle MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, a genetic condition discovered in 2005. All 4 Adam will feature live entertainment, raffles, auctions, refreshments and more. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Tickets will also be available at the door.
