Five Reasons North Andover is Better Than Masco Towns

North Andover High School will face off against Masconomet Regional High School for their annual Thanksgiving Day game. So for fun, we've thought of some things that make North Andover better than Masco's towns -- Boxford, Topsfield and Middleton.

1. Strong Small Business Community

North Andover has a vibrant small business community. Residents can walk along Main Street and stop in for some baked goods or for tools. Or over to Chickering Plaza for a spa day at or any of the other areas in town with clusters of unique small businesses. Boxford and Topsfield combined don't have as many as North Andover.

2. Restaurants

North Andover also has the best restaurants around. You can grab dinner at or or any of the dozens of other restaurants in town. Middleton restaurants aren't bad, but they don't come close to matching up to North Andover's.

3. Merrimack College

North Andover has a top-notch college. Masco town's don't. has impressive sports teams (their hockey team is ) and offers weekly performances at the Rogers Center.

4. Scenery

Sure, Boxford and Topsfield have scenic roads, but they don't have Lake Cochichewick, Weir Hill, the Harold Parker State Forest or the Also, Boxford has that massive mosquito problem so in the summer months you can probably only enjoy their scenery before 5 p.m.

5. Pet Pampering

Let's face it. If you want to spoil your beloved pets, North Andover is a better place in which to do it than the Masco towns. You can take your pets to for some organic pet food, grab some pet accessories and grooming at have some training done at and have Tracey from look after them and walk them. And those are just a few of the places in town that offer goods and services to spoil your pet.
