'Fat Letters' Mentioned on SNL

Those controversial letters were the topic of a joke.

The school BMI notifications -- dubbed "fat letters" by some -- have made the rounds in local and national media reporting in the past week. But on Saturday, the topic showed up in an unexpected place: on Saturday Night Live.

On SNL's "Weekend Update With Seth Meyers," among the many jokes on the fake news broadcast was one that had to do with the BMI letters being sent home to parents in Massachusetts.

"Though they could have used gentler phrasing than, 'Ya kid's a wicked porkah,'" Meyers said in a thick Boston accent.
