Hundreds of paws rushed to Smolak Farms Sunday for the 6th Annual Dog Day Festival, sponsored by Treadwell's Ice Cream.

Pet-related vendors lined the small field offering treats, massages, services, demos and more. There were also hayrides and walking trails.

All proceeds are donated to the MSPCA.

The Dog Day Festival was established by Jackie Fitzgerald (co-owner of Treadwell's) in memory of her Golden Retriever Bailey, who had passed away in 2007.
