Tisei And Ryan Share Ideology, Close Ties

               Romney-Ryan-Tisei double down on effort to end Medicare

Peabody, MA – Richard Tisei and Paul Ryan are an ideological pair; as shown by Tisei's support for Ryan's blueprint for America. Mitt Romney’s selection of Ryan confirms just how serious Republicans are about enacting his plan to end Medicare. While Richard Tisei and his Republican allies are celebrating the Ryan VP pick, middle-class families and seniors are bracing themselves for a hit if the Romney-Ryan-Tisei ticket is elected this November.

Paul Ryan is the mastermind behind the House Republican plan that will dismantle Medicare, give special tax breaks to the wealthiest Americans, force the middle class to pay more in taxes, and protect companies who ship jobs overseas. Shortly after Tisei was flown to Washington, DC to be personally briefed by Ryan on the budget, he has praised Ryan's  plan and has taken the maximum campaign contribution from Congressman Ryan's PAC.

“The Ryan-Tisei policies will end Medicare as we know it, give tax breaks to Big Oil, protect companies who ship jobs overseas, and raise taxes on the middle class. Fact: Richard Tisei said that he thinks the Ryan Budget is a “good start.”  In fact, he said that he thinks it does not cut enough… apparently, he wants to go even further.

Fact: Tisei said that he would take money from PACs, “If there are PACs I ideologically agree with” – 2/2/12. Richard Tisei received the maximum contribution from Paul Ryan’s PAC. 

Fact: If Tisei were in Congress he would have had to vote for either the GOP budget or the Democratic budget.  He’s already attacked the democratic budget, and Tisei says he is comfortable with the Republican Party and its approach.

Fact: Richard Tisei said that we should change Medicare as we know it for people under the age of 50…exactly as the Republican budget does.

Fact: Paul Ryan's Young Gun Super PAC just announced they will be spending $900,000 on TV ads to help Tisei's campaign.
