Natalie Anderson, a Joe Fish manager, said, "All our fish is fresh from North Coast Seafoods so they're always on the docks every morning, and we get it delivered seven days a week."

Natalie was able to narrow the expansive menu down to a single recommendation.

"Our Katzu Tuna is always the most popular," she said. The dish is a fresh yellow fin tuna coated with crunchy panko crumbs.

It is flash fried and served with sugar snap peas, white rice, pickled ginger, wasabi and soy sauce.

"We've been getting some fresh fish from Hawaii too," Anderson added.

Booking reservations are recommended at Joe Fish. "Right now Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are busy," said Anderson.

"In the summer time the busiest times are Sunday through Thursday," she said.

Over in Andover, Gene Marshall is a manger of , a local restaurant that has left its mark in Andover over the past two decades.

"It's a family business," said Marshall. "My father started it twenty years ago," he continued.

"We live in Gloucester so that's where we source the seafood from," Marshall said. "My father buys them literally right off the boats."

Marshall suggested an irresistible favorite. "Fried haddock is definitely the most popular," he said.

The fried haddock is available in many different forms. It comes in plates for $13.95, boats for $9.95 and rolls for $8.95. Small, medium, and large boxes cost $8.95, $15.95 and $24.95 respectively.

Fried haddock in a wrap is also a very good option that's available for $8.95.
