Success! Restaurant Week Concludes, Everybody Wins

North Andover Restaurants such as The Loft and Chama Grill enjoyed a successful Restaurant Week thanks to the North Andover Merchants Association.

All good things must come to an end and that includes the North Andover Merchant Association’s glorious event known as Restaurant Week.

Almost half of North Andover’s restaurants participated in the event which had residents of North Andover and beyond savoring delicious food at spectacular prices.

A pair of local businesses, The Loft and Chama Grill, had especially good experiences.

“I’ve been seeing a lot of new people coming in, a lot of new faces,” said Michael Saal, a manager at The Loft.

“Any time we reach out to a new customer is a great thing,” he continued.

The Loft was offering a dinner special for two that featured a pair of appetizer, desert, and an entrée.

“I’ve gotten good feedback on it, so I’d call that a success,” said Saal.

The North Andover Merchants Association does a lot to help out local restaurants which Saal and his staff are thankful for.

“I think they promote some good events,” Saal said of NAMA. “It gets the restaurants in town to together to promote some business and that’s a great thing.”

As far as the autumn season goes, one wonderful beer helps keep The Loft busy.

“We have the Shipyard Pumpkinhead which is great,” Saal said. “The caramel and brown sugar rim, everyone loves that,” he continued.

The Loft is located at 1140 Osgood Street in North Andover. You can give them a call at 978-686-0026 to make a reservation.

We also checked in with Chama Grill, the new kid on the block as far as North Andover restaurants go.

Thay Campos, a manager at the  Brazilian steakhouse told us she enjoyed Chama’s first ever restaurant week.

“It has been great for us actually,” she said. “We had two offers, one the Brazilian steakhouse meal with desert or a three course meal.”

NAMA has been particularly helpful in getting Chama and other new businesses get off the ground.

“They have been supportive since day one,” Campos said of NAMA. “It’s been great and getting better every week.”

This autumn and winter, she expects Chama to see an increase in business.

“We’re just trying to build up the business and pushing advertising,” she said. “We just want people to try our cuisine for now since we’re brand new.”

Chama Grill is located at 115 Main Street; give them a call at 978-258-2238 to make a reservation.
