Five Halloween Party Must Haves

If you are hosting a Halloween bash – be sure to have these tricks and treats up your sleeve.

1)      Spooky music and scary movies – setting the mood for a frightful night of fun and frolic is the key to keeping your Halloween gathering alive and kicking. Whether you pop a classic horror flick into the DVD player or have some eerie tunes playing in the background, your guests are sure to appreciate the added entertainment.  Stop in to at 345 Main St. to see their selection of CDs and DVDs that suit the occasion.

2)      Devilish Desserts – it is not a Halloween party without some treats so be sure to pick up something sweet to tantalize your guests. Check out your options at at 1211 Osgood St.

3)      An Enchanted Entryway – have your guests arrive in style with a walkway lit by handmade paper bag luminaries. They are easy to make, inexpensive and you can get everything you need at at 350 Winthrop Ave. in the North Andover Mall.  Simply purchase brown paper bags.  Cut a Halloween inspired design into each bag. Line the bottom of each bag with rice to weight it down and insert a tealight or votive candle. Line your walkway with the bags, light and impress your party-goers right from the start.

5)      Party favors – Sending your guests home with a small remembrance of a fun evening out is a nice way to end the night. Something small is all that is needed.  Pick up several large packages of candy corn at on Main St. or Turnpike St. and then individually bag them and tie off with orange and black ribbon.  Partygoers with the munchies on the way home will be glad that your Halloween shin-dig was the one they took the time to attend.
