Panera Bread of North Andover today announced it has presented a check for $6,750 to the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence. The money, raised through Panera’s Operation Dough-Nation program, will be used to support the Boys & Girls Club’s Homework Help Center, helping the Club continue to provide academic support and to promote the health, social, educational, vocational, and character development for all members.

“Panera Bread is honored to support the North Andover community, specifically the youth that attend the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence,” said Mitch Roberts franchise co-owner of Panera Bread in North Andover. “We are proud to give back to this wonderful organization through the Operation Dough-Nation program.”

The North Andover bakery-cafe originally collected $3,375 from customers through in-store Operation Dough-Nation canisters, which are displayed near the registers in each Panera bakery-cafe. Panera Bread then matched its customer donations dollar for dollar, bringing the total donation to $6,750
