After several decades in business, DeFusco & Son Italian Bakery has shut its doors.

Beverly

Restaurant Week is back in the Garden City for two weeks in April and early May.

Wenham

You can now get beer and wine at the Richdale convenience store. It's the only such license in town.

Lynnfield

. And yes, there are paper pirate hats for the kids.

Marblehead

Sweeney's Retreat is still closed, but the battle over its liquor license continued. The town has bowed to a state ruling to renew the denfunct spot's license so the restaurant's bankruptcy trustee can sell it.

Peabody

If you're in the market for a snazzy kitchen makeover, you might have a tough time getting an appointment with Peabody's Matt and Manuel Silva. That's because they just won runner-up for a national kitchen redesign award.

Salem

That vacant space on Paradise Road where Blockbuster Video used to be? It's slated to become a Qdoba Mexican Grill.
