North Andover Small Biz Period Packs Earns Honor

Wendy Bulawa Agudelo said she hopes to grow her business.

Period Packs, a North Andover small business, was named to StartupNation’s 2014 Top 100 Leading Moms in Business list.

Period Packs sells theme gift boxes for girls.

“We are absolutely thrilled to be in the company of so many superior mom-owned businesses from around the country, but equally as proud to learn of our highly supportive demographic of clients and fans who recognize the value in what we do," said Wendy Bulawa Agudelo, founder of Period Packs, in a statement. "Our hearts are filled with appreciation—which will fuel us to further build upon what Period Packs has already accomplished to date."

Agudelo said her products "welcome young ladies to womanhood."

"When young women approach puberty, trepidation is typical and questions abound," she wrote. "Period Packs strives to alleviate the concerns, confusion and awkwardness as young women prepare for menstruation by delivering lovely gift boxes filled with needed and supportive items, as well as fun and delicious gifts and goodies too."
