North Andover Resident Named President of Builders Association of Greater Boston

She officially started Jan. 1.

The Builders Association of Greater Boston has announced its fourth female President in Felecia Elias. Officially, Elias took office on January 1, 2013 replacing Ted Mahoney, owner of Fairview Millwork, who has served as President of the Association for three separate terms.

The Builders Association of Greater Boston (BAGB) is a long-standing trade Association affiliated with the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and Home Builders Association of Massachusetts (HBAM), and has represented the industry since 1944.  BAGB has evolved into one of the leading trade associations in New England serving small, moderate, and large volume builders and developers who construct single family, multi-family, and commercial properties, and remodeling contractors. Associate members represent property management professionals, sales and marketing firms, realtors, suppliers, architects, engineers, land planners, attorneys, accountants, financial institutions and distributors of construction related materials.

“As the region's preeminent home builders association, the Builders Association of Greater Boston is a tremendous resource for both consumers and members,” said Gerry-Lynn Darcy, Executive Officer of BAGB. “Felecia’s enthusiasm will help take our organization to the next level. Her breadth of experience and respect within the building industry will serve the BAGB well.”
