Mexican Meals and Margaritas

Casa Blanca Mexican Restuarant will not disappoint with its margaritas and meals.

Mexico may be over 2000 miles away but North Andover residents don't have to travel far to get a spicy and delicious sample of what our neighbors to the south have to offer.

Casa Blanca Mexican Restaurant has three locations, one of which is on Route 125 in North Andover.

“In August we’ll be six years running,” said Jorge Vargas of Casa Blanca.

has classic Mexican favorites along with some unique dishes that will enhance your idea of traditional Mexican food.

“Many people will get burritos or chimichangas with enchiladas,” said Vargas. Their Macho Burrito features delicious grilled skirt steak wrapped in a flour tortilla with pinto beans, rice and roasted green onions. It is covered in Ranchero sauce, pico de gallo, and sliced avocados.

The Macho Burrito goes for $15.

As far as chimichangas go, they are deep fried until golden brown and served with a pair of side dishes.

The Cancun Chimichanga features a myriad of seafood including shrimp, crab, and scallops. It is topped with red enchilada sauce and cheddar cheese. Of course it has guacamole and sour cream on the side along with pico de gallo.

This popular version of the chimichanga sells for $14.50

“Hispanic people seem to go for the grilled steak or Carne Asada,” said Vargas.

The Carne Asada, charbroiled skirt steak, is served with guacamole, grilled green onions and pico de gallo. This popular dish is also served with two sides; side dish choices include Mexican rice, Spanish white rice, refried beans, black beans, sautéed vegetables and steak fries.

The Carne Asada dish costs $15.75.

“Fridays and Saturday nights can get very crowded,” Vargas said. “The waiting list may get to thirty minutes or more,” he continued.

"We have shuttle service for additional parking because it can get very busy,” he said.

For adults, the best way to cool off in the summer may be with a refreshing margerita and Casa Blanca will be happy to make you one.

Casa Blanca serves an Ultimate Margarita; it’s a 16 ounce drink featuring top shelf tequila, fresh lime juice and of course, a delicious salted rim. All margaritas are 16 ounces. Thirsty individuals can pay an extra two bucks for a Grande-sized Margarita.

Casa Blanca is open every day from 11AM to 10PM. On Fridays and Saturdays it remains open through 11PM.
