Local NA Photographer is Elected President of Professional Photographers Association of New England

The Professional Photographers Association of New England (PPANE) has elected local North Andover portrait photographer, Ed Pedi as its association President for the 2013/2014 term. Ed Pedi, Master Photographer, Craftsman, Certified has owned and operated Ed Pedi Photography studio in North Andover since 1992 and he specializes exclusively in Family/Children portraiture. A member of PPANE since 1994, Mr. Pedi was officially sworn in at their annual conference held at the Radisson Nashua Hotel on Sunday, September 10, 2013. Professional Photographers of America (PPA) current standing president, Ralph Romaguera from New Orleans, LA attended the annual conference to officiate the swearing in ceremony. At the event, Mr. Pedi revealed his chosen conference theme; ‘Exceptional Imaging without Exception’. He spoke about the importance of creating artistic portraiture that is properly exposed, lit and beautifully posed; classical portraiture to be enjoyed today and for many future generations to come. 

Mr. Pedi is a national speaker, mentor and award winning photographer. His images have received many photographic awards and have been displayed in the Kodak Exhibit at Disney’s Epcot Center. He has had multiple images published in Professional Photographer Magazine and in numerous PPA Loan collection books, featuring the best of the best in professional photography. He is a five time recipient of PPA National Photographer of the Year Award and is a past, two term president of Professional Photographers Association of Massachusetts (PPAM). He is also a Massachusetts Councilor to PPA and one of only two Massachusetts approved affiliate print jurors. His images may be viewed on his website at: www.edpediphoto.com.
