Local Business Honored in Mom-Themed Contest

Starting a business in this economy can be troublesome for any mom, but for one business in North Andover it's been a great year.

Local start-up business Period Packs was recently ranked among the Top 200 Leading Moms in Business by StartupNation.com.

Period Packs is a gift box company that provides menses-related products and aims to bring a sense of celebration and understanding about the onset of menses to girs around the world as well as make life better for postnatal mothers. The company was selected by StartupNation from thousands of contestants.

The contest celebrates moms who have taken the initiatives to start their own businesses and factors in things like attractive discounts, promoting product value, innovation, resourcefulness in these tough economic times, community conscience and more.
