Jaime's: North Andover Summer Sanctuary

Looking for a getaway this summer without traveling very far?

on High Street in North Andover is a summer sanctuary that helps patrons feel like they’re on vacation when they’re right at home.

Owner noted one of this summer’s most popular dishes.

“With the summertime here we do a lot of the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos,” Faria said.

Two soft tacos are filled with grilled mahi mahi, cilantro mayo, lettuce, sour cream and Monterey Jack cheddar on the side. Also on the side are rice and vegetables for the price of $15.99.

“It’s a light dish, and very flavorful,” Faria said. “It’s not a heavy dish so people are really enjoying it this summer,” he continued.

Jaime’s is offering a new special throughout the summer.

“We run fresh lobster rolls every Sunday and Monday,” said Faria. “I get them from Gloucester fresh, you can’t beat ‘em,” he added.

Jaime’s lobsters arrive alive and fresh for preparation in their kitchen.

A fresh seafood entrée deserves an equally delicious summer beverage, and the bar at Jaime’s fills the need with another fresh treat.

“We’re running a fresh raspberry mojito,” Faria said. “We don’t use any pre-mixed raspberry juices, we use real raspberries,” he continued.  

Enjoy the summer outside on Jaime’s outdoor patio. Without having to travel far, you can sit outside and enjoy the sun and breeze along with your food and drink.

“If you don’t have enough time to drive up to Newburyport it’s really convenient to pop down here and have a bite to eat,” said Faria.

Jaime’s is also featuring live entertainment on Saturday nights, and don’t forget about its lounge area, plentiful TVs, and the fireplace for the evening.

The full menu is available at Jaime’s until 9:30pm Monday through Wednesday. Thursday through Saturday the full menu is available through 10:30pm.

Jaime’s is a 2012 Patch Readers’ Choice Award Winner. They have appetizers at half price Monday through Friday, 3pm to 6pm.
