When/Where: Saturday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at

Why Go: The Fishing Derby supports the Timothy P. Roberts “Reeling in a Dream” fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Participants may fish from the shore of Brooks School beginning at 9 a.m. for $10.00 per person, or by boat (electric motor only) at 7 a.m. for $25.00 per person.  Trophies will be awarded and all children will receive a participation medal. Cookout on the shore. Pre-registration is encouraged at Treadwell’s Ice Cream at Smolak Farms in North Andover during regular business hours or online atwww.reelinginadream.org.

3. Drama Guild Car Wash

When/Where: Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at

Why Go: For $8, you can have your car washed and support the North Andover High School Drama Guild. Rain date is Sunday, June 3.

4. 17th Century Saturdays

When/Where: Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Parson Barnard House.

Why Go: This is the first first 17th Century Saturday of the season. You can tour the historic Parson Barnard House, visit our traveling gift shop, see the iber related demonstrations or make a donation to help preserve the Carriage Barn.

When/Where: Saturday at 3 p.m. at 18 Elm St., Andover.

Why Go: The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a volunteer-driven charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Get involved and you'll be giving hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Meet recent members of the Patriots cheerleading squad, win tickets to the Boston Cannons Lacross team and other fun events.
