1. China Blossom

This trusty mainstay has been a constant in North Andover since 1960, and it knows that ravenous restaurant goers need a great meal on Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, the kitchen will be open from 11:30am to 9:30pm.

They will have a limited holiday menu that you can find by clicking here. It features pretty much everything you could want from a Pu Pu Platter ($20.95) to Almond Guy Ding ($12.55).

Patch recommends the Orange Beef, $13.95, featuring pieces of crispy beef slathered with Sichuan sauce and tossed with chili peppers and fresh orange peels.

There will be a lunch buffet on Christmas Eve from 11:30am to 2:30pm at the remarkable price of $9.95.

The dinner buffet will be from 4:30pm to 9:30pm at a price of $24.95 per person.

On Christmas Day, the full menu will be available and the kitchen is open from noon until 9:30pm.

There is also a holiday buffet from noon until 8pm which costs $22.95 per person.

2. Casa Blanca

Another North Andover favorite will be open on Christmas Eve just as Santa Claus is beginning his rounds.

“Fa – la – la –la –la – la – fa – jita!” joked the Casa Blanca Facebook page. That may not be how the actual Christmas carol goes, but it does recommend a fun and flavorful dish.

Despite being closed on Christmas Day, the Christmas Eve scene will be rocking at Casa Blanca.

The entire menu will be available and the restaurant is open from 11am to 9pm.

As far as fajitas go, you can get sizzling steak, chicken and shrimp along with sautéed fresh bell peppers, onions, and three soft flour tortillas. Served alongside are lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. You also get to choose a pair of sides.

When it comes to Margaritas, you may be getting the best one in town at Casa Blanca. Here’s one that may be new to you, the Jalapeno Berry Margarita.

It has gold tequila, Cointreau, raspberry flavor, lime juice, and a bit of jalapeno juice. It’s hand shaken and served on the rocks with a salted rim.

3. Bollywood Grill

Indian food will be readily available on Christmas Eve thanks to Bollywood Grill which has been open since 1991.

From 11:30am to 3pm they’ll be serving lunch and from 5pm to 10:30pm they’ll be serving dinner. Both occasions will feature their regular menu.

When it comes to appetizers, Patch recommends the Meat Samosas ($5.95). Similar to its predecessor, the regular Vegetarian Samosas ($4.95), Meat Samosas are homemade, fried turnovers stuffed with flavorful minced lamb.

For the main course, Chicken Curry ($12.95) is always a popular option but try something new in the Mango Chicken Jalfrezie ($13.95). This dish has tender filets of chicken gently sautéed with mixed green vegetables and mango chutney.
