Andovers a la Carte: Outdoor Dining

In the mood to eat good food outside? We've got you covered.

It's summer. Why not eat outside?

In North Andover, check out  for a nice private experience on their deck. The area offers table seating and a lounge area with coffee tables and couches, as well as a television.

Corilee DeAngelas, manager, said that there is awning over the tables, but the lounge area does not have one. There’s never much of a wait, but most people just relax in the lounge until a table opens up, DeAngelas said.

“It's a good place for people to come together and to sit sit outside and enjoy it,” she said.

In Andover, you can enjoy Italian food at Bertucci’s and people watch at the same time. There are five tables outside during the summer months when the snow has finally melted.

Mike Staffieri, manager at Bertucci’s said he thinks people like to have the opportunity to enjoy the outsides because of the weather. “It’s more scenic,” he said.

During the evening at Dylan’s in Andover it gets pretty busy said Jill Cantarella, manager. They have sic tables outside on their patio. To keep safe from the sun they have canopy umbrellas. Located right in downtown Andover, there’s a lot of people walking around. Perfect to get in some people watching. This section is open usually until Labor Day weekend or until the weather starts to deteriorate.

“It’s a nice atmosphere,” Cantarella said. “It’s really nice to be out there.”

Glory Restaurant is officially closed and work is underway to renovate it and bring Italian food to Andover. Andolinis will be the name of the new restaurant taking Glory’s place. For updates on Andolinis, they are on twitter @andolinis01810.
